Our practice, philosophy & people

A patient-focused practice at Kawana Private Hospital, offering premium dental care for patients of all ages — here's who we are and how we think.

Our dental philosophy

Comprehensive care, uniquely holistic

At Lake View Dental we combine quality materials and preventive follow-up with a whole-body view of what a healthy mouth means.

  • Dentists are the gatekeepers to the airway. Tooth loss can affect bone structure, posture, chewing and breathing — missing teeth can even destabilise the jaw joint and loosen soft tissue, contributing to sleep apnoea.
  • Early jaw development matters. Detecting and correcting children's jaw development issues early is critical to healthy chewing and breathing for life.
  • Grow the jaw, don't just extract. Over 200 years of softer, industrialised diets have contributed to jaw underdevelopment and crowding — our focus is recovering bone and jaw size so all teeth fit.
  • Eat Well, Breathe Well, Live Well. We treat patients as whole people — folding in social and mental-health context and interdisciplinary care, not teeth in isolation.
